The school motto at Walnut Grove is “You Belong Here.”  This means that every student is of the utmost value to our school.  We want our kids and the families we serve to know that they are cared for greatly.

Longbranch Elementary

Students at Longbranch Elementary embark on new adventures in learning every day! They have opportunities to discover their passion or genius through fun learning experiences such as Campus Clubs or Wonder Workshops. During Wonder Workshops, PreK-2 students explore and problem solve with STEM and Challenge activities.

WAXAHACHIE HIGH SCHOOL

WHS offers College Board Advanced Placement courses in English Literature/Composition, Physics, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Computer Science, History, Economics, French, and Spanish. The school features a computerized library with an online database with excellent research-teaching facilities.

COLEMAN JUNIOR HIGH

Evelyn Love Coleman Junior High School opened its doors as a sixth, seventh and eighth-grade campus on August 22, 2018.  Coleman Junior High was formally dedicated on September 7th, 2018 in honor of longtime Waxahachie ISD educator Evelyn Love Coleman.  Currently, Coleman Junior High serves almost 1,000 students.

WEDGEWOOD ELEMENTARY

E.B. Wedgeworth Elementary was established in 1999 as a first through fifth-grade campus.  In 2011, it began housing kindergarteners.  Wedgeworth is also one of the district’s designated bilingual campuses.  The elementary school was formally dedicated on September 20, 1999.
